Tips from my photography class

I attended a basic photography class a couple of months ago. I think it made a tremendous difference in the way I took photos and also (hopefully) in the results.

Over the next few posts I am going to list some of the tips more as a reference for myself.

Here are the assumptions:
- You are shooting a digital SLR with a crop factor of 1.6 or 1.5.
- You are a prosumer and mostly want to take pictures as a hobby.
