Cherai beach is a narrow strip of land about 20 kilometers to the north of Kochi (Cochin). A wild Arabian sea makes Cherai a rather interesting place. Specked with resorts along the way, Cherai makes for an interesting landing spot on your way to other more majestic trips to the treasures of inner Kerala.
The Cochin airport is interesting and follows the distinct architecture style of Kerala houses.
