Here is a quick photo of the full moon over downtown New York City last night. I am generally too lazy to pull my camera out for moon shots but I thought I'd give it a try last night. It took a while to get the tripod setup on the long lens (Canon f/4 70-200 IS) mounted on it and the moon moved a bit to the right so wasn't quite where I wanted it. However, I was happy with the clarity of the shot. Didn't do much in post-processing on this. I only kept the shutter open for 6 seconds which probably helped though because fo that I didn't quite get the smooth water that one aims for in a night shot.
