Stones and the City

There is something magical about stones jutting out of water. I've always wanted to take a long-exposure shot with stones somewhere in the foreground. So I got lucky here - frozen water, stones in the foreground and New York City in the background!

This is a 4-minute exposure. That is a long time to keep your shutter open. Probably contributed to the noise in the buildings but hard to freeze Hudson in less than that.
