10 years have gone by. So much has happened and yet, so little has really changed. We've lost hair, put on weight and we've aged. We've collected memories and useless trinkets and trivia. We've built our lives, our families. We've also built things. We've mostly moved on, well, most of us have. Some, a lot actually, have disappeared, some without leaving anything real behind. Others have left behind rivers of tears and wistful silence that will haunt generations in strange, undetermined ways. Yet others have left behind poetry, of various kinds, that will fascinate generations in unknown ways.
We are humans. We aren't built to last so we must build to outlast.
