Montgomery Place is one of the many sites managed by the History Hudson Valley foundation. It is bit of a drive and is truly a unique place that seems like time forgot. It has basically a huge property with beautiful gardens and a giant old mansion that was closed when we went there last May. The weather was perfect and it seemed like one of the most peaceful places we've been to. Akshra enjoyed the flowers, the trees and the ambience that was something out of a fairy-tale.

If you haven't been to this place and you are on the East coast then I highly recommend it for a day-trip.
