Picnics are so old fashioned

Last month we had a chance to visit Cove Island Park near Stamford, Connecticut. It was a bright sunny day and we had a lot of fun. The picture above was taken as we were wrapping up. Picnics are such an old fashioned idea. They remind us of a time when people actually had time to go out and pursue nothing in particular but just some pleasant leisure time.
