From Hell

The Hughes Brothers’ take on the ‘Jack the ripper’ legend is certainly from hell. However, it is long, drawn out and uninteresting. Characters are lost and incidents are over burdened with blood. You don’t even feel anything after a while when you realize there isn’t a payback. Hell, there isn’t even a real story or a performance going on. It makes sense for as long as it does and you just wait for it to get over. It is hard to tell whether it is the end of the middle that is bad.

This is probably the poorest character development for Johnny Depp ever. He is truly wasted and isn’t really there at all.

Avoid this hell, its not the fires but anxiety that will kill you.
